The Noodles and Sam Team say hello,
We are sure Noodles and Sam would say hello and give you a big thank you today but we haven't talked to them. As you probably know they are somewhere in Port-au-Prince Haiti today. We hope everyone is doing well. Your messages have been great and some of the things you all are doing are amazing. It is so interesting to learn about different cultures of the world. Please keep them coming.
Bugged Out
Just before Noodles and Sam left for Haiti they were bugged out. One afternoon they had a praying mantis show up outside. They thought it was super cool and although they have been around the world they hadn't seen one up close. A day or two later a while hanging out outside they came across a tarantula. Yes, that's right a tarantula! Again, although they have been all over the world they had never seen a real one. Now Noodles and Sam want to go learn more about bugs. They aren't sure where to go, so let us know if you have a great place to learn about bugs by where you live and they can come visit you. Tell us what you think.
Schools in Session
The Noodles and Sam team were contacted yesterday by one of the local schools about the The Adventures of Noodles and Sam website. They wanted to discuss how they could use it in some of the classrooms. It was really neat for a few reasons. The first reason was that the kids in school would be able to see and learn about all of the great things Noodles and Sam are doing. The second reason was they wanted to make sure the site was secure and safe. Once the call was over it was all set; The Adventures of Noodles and Sam is going to be used in some of the classrooms during what they call the "free time". Everybody at the Adventures of Noodles and Sam are really excited and can't wait to tell Noodles and Sam when they return.
Quite on the Set
We spoke to Cambodia yesterday and found out the official name of the school. Up until this point Noodles and Sam and the team only knew it was a primary school. The official name is Ty-rathanak Primary School, Battambang Province. The principal of the school, principal Tep also told our contact he was sending out the video that he taped for Noodles and Sam. We will keep you posted. The team here has been using i-movie to edit the Cambodia Skype call. It has been challenging. Let us know if you have any more tips or tricks. Noodles and Sam are really new to website designing, movie editing, etc. so your help is really appreciated, really!
Last But Not Least
Noodles and Sam really enjoyed raising the money and helping the kids in Cambodia. Although it wasn't much they were happy that they could help in any way. Let Noodles and Sam know if you have some place that you think they should try and help. They would love to hear about it.
Thank you
Noodles and Sam say thank you for your great e-mails and want to say a special hello to their new friends in Simi Valley, California and Ontario, Canada.
Until next time,
The Adventures of Noodles and Sam team
